Always a joy to photograph my dear friend Cathy, added bonus to photograph her oh so handsome boys too 🙂

This mini session was a week after the previous mini’s, and sadly the wind and the weather stripped most of the fall color away.

However, we picked lots of bright color & accessories during her wardrobe consult, and I couldn’t be any happier with how the images turned out!

I’m going to play a little blogging catch up these next few weeks.

 I’m taking a little time off from shooting to work on the other 80% of my business that is not photographing or meeting with clients!

This year’s holiday mini sessions were by far my favorite yet.

Not only did I have really amazing & fun families, but I found a location that screamed “Hello!  It’s the holidays!”

My clients were so happy with the images & the colors that more than half of  designed wall displays!

Here’s the three images they chose to add to their beautiful family staircase wall of 20×20 canvases.

I am so thrilled with how my mini sessions went this year,  the weather, the location and most of all the wonderful families I photographed!

(Everyone arrived on time which is a double bonus!)

Unfortunately it is still too soon to share the family portraits (don’t want to spoil any holiday card surprises), so I put together a collage of the beautiful smiling faces I captured that day!

Hope it puts a smile on your face today 🙂

Rabbit Rabbit Welcome December | Raleigh Family Photography

Hello there!  Hard to believe it is December, isn’t it?

We have a little tradition where upon the first day of every month we say “rabbit rabbit” to each other.  This ensures good luck for the duration of the month!

It must work, because I feel so lucky and thankful for all of you & my clients.  2013 has been my best year yet!

I have LOTS to blog in the upcoming weeks from all of the fabulous sessions & mini-sessions this fall.

Today I cap off my 2013 shooting season with two more family sessions,

and then it’s time to focus on my family& this joyous time of year 🙂

My apologies for not posting here in over a week!

I have SO much to share, just have to wait a little bit longer (can’t ruin holiday card surprises!)

Fall portrait season is in full swing, so little time & blogging goes to the bottom of the list.  C’est la vie!
