I hope everyone has a lovely Easter week.  We are off to sunny F-L-A to warm our bones and let the ocean cure our winter blues :)

I will be back to my desk on Monday, April 8th.  I will return emails after this date.

Thank you for your patience.  Everyone needs to feed their mind & heart with some quality family time every once in a while … and I am absolutely looking forward to lack of screen time as well.

I guess I’m an old fashioned kind of gal 😉

I am sorry it’s been over a week since I’ve blogged.  No real excuse except this busy life!  I have been shooting a lot, and  do have several sessions to share with you, hoping to blog at least one today.  Spring break is here and we are headed down to Florida for a week!  Packing up my family & errand running may trump blogging, we’ll see :)

I’ve been wanting to write this post for a while.  A few weeks ago I was invited to my friend Dawn’s house for an oyster roast.  You may remember her gorgeous children from this blog post HERE.

We were hanging out, eating oysters & drinking a cold one, when Dawn introduced me to her friend.  Her friend said, “Oh my gosh, are you that fun confetti photographer?”  I laughed because first of all, I still get excited when people call me a photographer :)  And secondly, the fun confetti photographer.  Loved it.  Yes, I want to be that person.  Wait, I AM that person!  Sweet!

The whole confetti fun started with my daughter’s 14th birthday, and it trickled down into several sessions from there.

A few months ago I ran into an old neighbor & good friend of mine at Target.  We had lost touch after she moved away, and I was thrilled to reconnect with her.  We spend many hours watching the kiddos splash in the baby pool, enjoying long summer afternoons and frosty beverages!

She has four amazing children, one that I remember as a newborn and one I hadn’t even met yet.

My friend hired me to take pictures of  her youngest daughter, who wants to be the next big thing in the actress world.  I have to tell you after working with her, I know she has a VERY good chance!!

We met  at their home & began my session with Miss M., the aspiring movie star.

What an absolute sweetheart & shining star!!

    She was very excited about her dress – what little girl doesn’t like to twirl?

We then headed inside to take some pics with her big sis, in their beautiful & colorful bedroom.

You just can’t take pics in a bedroom without a jumping on the bed shot!

We then decided to head to the neighborhood park & lake area.

Big brother joined us, and so glad he did.

The last time I saw him I think he was in diapers.  Man, time flies!

We then headed back to the house to finish up the shoot with some super fun confetti shots!

Although the focus on this next shot is soft, it is one of my favorites because of pure joy that comes from it!

I don’t know how many times I can say this, but I am SO lucky to have such truly incredible clients.

These kids were SO good and really opened up to me, making my job my dream job :)

p.s. Mom ordered four 16×16 metal prints for a wall display.  You bet I will blog it as soon as I get a photo.  The metals are FABULOUS!!
