This beautiful Momma to be is expecting her first baby girl.

We met in the studio for some beauty images, while Dad had big brother out for ice cream :)

 I enjoyed every single moment of capturing this mother/daughter bond.  I may have even shed a tear …

I must say, I work with some truly amazing families.

This family braved the almost 100 degree temps for their session last night…

AND they were total troopers, despite the sweat dripping & clothing sticking!

AND  they don’t even look like they’re sweltering either.

Three Generations | Mother’s Day Mini Session

Today I share with you a very special family that came to my studio for a Mother’s Day Mini Session.

December 2013, Heather purchased a family session for her mom as a Christmas gift.  We had planned to do the pictures in the spring.

Shockingly, Heather’s mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in March.

We rescheduled for fall mini sessions,  but she ended up not feeling well and couldn’t do that session at the last minute.

Heather’s Mom finished her treatment 12/30/14.

And as is evident from the images, is happy & healthy!

A Mother’s Day celebration like no other!
