I hope that you had a fun & restful holiday break. One of my highlights was gathering with my entire side of the family … all 23 of us! Too much fun, so thankful for my happy & healthy family, it makes me cry…

I am looking forward to getting back to work this week, the new year is always an excited time for review as well as planning for exciting things to come.

Up next is the annual ‘Best Of’ contest, stay tuned. The winner will receive a beautiful 16×20 gallery wrapped canvas!

I am starting vacation as of tomorrow through the new year. I have a few blog posts that will go up, and will probably post a few snaps from my own family adventures as well.

What an AMAZING year it has been, I am looking forward to recapping with you in 2014, as well as all the new and great things to come.

Rabbit Rabbit Welcome December | Raleigh Family Photography

Hello there! Hard to believe it is December, isn’t it?

We have a little tradition where upon the first day of every month we say “rabbit rabbit” to each other. This ensures good luck for the duration of the month!

It must work, because I feel so lucky and thankful for all of you & my clients. 2013 has been my best year yet!

I have LOTS to blog in the upcoming weeks from all of the fabulous sessions & mini-sessions this fall.

Today I cap off my 2013 shooting season with two more family sessions,

and then it’s time to focus on my family& this joyous time of year

This was my third year photographing this fabulous family. You may remember them from this park session.

Such a treat to watch them grow & transition into young adults.

We have had a rainy past few months here in NC, so much that we rescheduled this session three times! We decided third time was a charm, and of course it was raining the morning of their session.

So we decided we would play with umbrellas & get some really fun rainy day shots.

Would you believe the sun came out for their session?! lol!
