I Feel Like a Goddess Today | Personal | Raleigh Portrait Photographer

I rise early to get my older two out the door by 7am, and then to my computer to start the day.  My day that is chopped into bits and pieces, as I am still committed to being all things that are a Mom (includes lots of driving!).

  I have learned to work in spurts, although I can say some days it just downright  bugs me.  What I wouldn’t give to have even just a half day of solid work time, I dream of all the check marks on my to do list!

However, I know those days are coming WAY to quickly, especially with one in high school now, with two close behind.

This morning I was sitting at my computer editing as she came down the stairs for breakfast. She states ” I feel like a goddess today. Do you have time to take my picture Mom?”

Makes me a bit sad that she has to ask, I used to be the one asking all the time. Wake up call. The new year resolution list has officially begun!

Took a few minutes to play with some textures, and I know this look isn’t for everyone but I really like it.

Our wonderful mornings alone together…

My apologies for not posting here in over a week!

I have SO much to share, just have to wait a little bit longer (can’t ruin holiday card surprises!)

Fall portrait season is in full swing, so little time & blogging goes to the bottom of the list.  C’est la vie!

This weekend kicked off the first day of my holiday mini-sessions!

It has been cloudy and drizzly for a solid week here in Raleigh, however the weekend looked promising for some sunshine.  Sadly the sun did not appear, but my families were all troopers and came out to the park for their sessions, despite the drizzle & crummy weather!

While I cannot post many ( since we do not want to ruin holiday card surprises), here is one of a super cutie who has the sweetest little spirit !

You may remember him and his twin brother from last year’s mini sessions (click here), one of my favorite out takes of all time!

His brother wasn’t feeling too well, however I managed to get a few happy shots if him that I will share at a later date.

I am so lucky to watch these boys grow, year after year.  Makes my heart so happy!
