Taking pictures of my own family :)

 I never got around to blogging my snow pics.  And now I’m kinda over it & happy the weather is warmer!

It is sad but true that I don’t take very many pictures of my own children these days.  So when I do, it makes me extremely happy.

Here’s a few snaps from my girl’s Cotillion ball last weekend.

I knew from the first phone call that I would enjoy photographing this family.

I love a family that’s not afraid of a winter session – in NC it really is hit or miss, and it was on with warm-ish temps for their session!

Mom wanted to capture these early tween & almost high school smiles, near and dear to my heart as I am in the same boat.

We met downtown and the fun began…

You can just tell they are a loving family :)

They opted for a wardrobe change – our initial plan was to stay downtown, but the traffic and parked cars were too much, so we packed up and headed to Pullen Park!

So glad we did.  Just love how these all turned out.

I was SO thrilled when Mom contacted me to tell me it’s time to update her girls modeling portfolios.

I couldn’t wait to get these two beautiful sisters in my studio for a day of girly beauty & FUN!

This past weekend this little charmer won her age group as Miss Liberty Little Miss!

She won overall high score for ages groups 7-19 as Miss Liberty Grand Majestic.
