A few of my lovelies …
Happy Monday!

This little angel also happens to be my niece! She lives in Chicago which is simply too far away.
My goal was a studio – type image, so we used the curtains as the backdrop in my mother’s dining room. A boppy pillow and a quilt for underneath. Shoot through umbrella to the left, me on my stomach with squeeky toy in hand.
Add cute baby and there your go!

Just love the hues in this month’s guide. Colors that really look good on just about anyone!
Please use these guides as an insipration for your session, and contact me if you need any assistance.

I have been wanting to photograph a baby belly for quite some time now. I think it is such an important phase of life to document, probably because I wish I had more (well, ANY) images of myself when I was pregnant. How quickly we forget…
I was thrilled when my husband’s co-worker contacted me to take her maternity photos. Definitely a last minute decision, as her due date was only 3 days after our session! She was calm, collected and positively glowing. And maybe, just maybe, I was secretly hoping she’d go into labor when our shoot was over … but this baby is very happy where he is and still hasn’t arrived!
Who looks this good at 39 1/2 weeks? Amazing!!
We met at sunrise to avoid the sweltering heat … this definitely was one of my hottest sessions, in more ways than one!!! (The are still newlyweds, afterall)
Too sweet for words …
Hard to pick a favorite, but these always makes me smile …
Looking forward to meeting your precious little boy!

This was a fun and rowdy bunch of cousins! This location is special to the parents – they have many fond memories playing at their grandmother’s house and in her beautiful flower field.
We had a good time, and think we all left the shoot exhausted (:
