Bloom Skin Spa Head Shots | Cary Raleigh Commercial Head Shot Photography

.

A few months ago a friend pleaded with me to book a facial with Amber at the Bloom Skin Spa.  She said you’d never have anything so good in your life, and she was right!  My facial was downright amazing.   Turns out this facial led to a friendship and a wonderful job opportunity for me!

I was hired to take images of this booming salon for web updates, as well as head shots of all of the employees.  Don’t yawn just yet!  I believe that every opportunity I have with a client is a unique and special one.  Head shots with me are FAR from boring, as I see it as my goal to capture your personality, even if my lens is only focused on you for a few minutes.

We had a ball at this head shot ‘party’ – an amazing and oh so beautiful group of women!

Enjoy the images …

IHF Photo Challenge | Beautiful B&W | Raleigh Cary Lifestyle Portrait Photography

When I saw the subject of this month’s contest, I knew I had to enter.  If you didn’t know (or couldn’t tell!), I love love black & white.  Every image on the walls in my room at this moment is black and white!

I decided not to agonize over which image, and literally pick the first one I came across while skimming my image folders.

Ahhh, my sweet niece that visited my last month.  LOVE her.

.

Head over to I Heart Faces to see lots of black & white beauties this month!

Cotillion Boys | Raleigh Cary Lifestyle Portrait Photography

Last night was the grand finale of the year of Cotillion for my son and his two buddies, the Cotillion ball.  I’ve seen my son in a tux one other time, and I’ll be honest, it gives me goose bumps and tears at the same time!  We did a session together, which I will most definitely write about.  For now, here’s one of the three of them that makes me smile a LOT!

Have a great Friday!

Lovely Ladies of the Cotillion | Raleigh Cary Lifestyle Portrait Photography

Last week I had the privelege to take pictures of two beautiful young teenagers all dressed up for the Cotillion Ball.  This was an extra special event to me because I have known these girls since they were in kindergarten. I am so proud of how the young adults they are, and excited for their bright bright futures!

.

We met at my house so we could ride together.   Not a bad natural backdrop, and the breeze was an added plus!

.

We headed downtown for the ball, and we were running a bit late.  I had them do one walking series before we headed to the top floor (they may have thought I was a bit crazy, and of course we had on-lookers too!)

.

I just love the end of day light downtown!

.

A few more in the grand ballroom and it was time to join their friends.

Thank you ladies for a lovely evening!
