Meet Hannah. My first senior for the class of 2012. Is she not the most beautiful girl ever?!! She has one of the most captivating smiles I have photographed yet & her dazzling personality shined just as much! It was H O T but Hannah was a real trooper, never complaining as she sported the jean jacket & blotted the sweat from her brow.

I have been wanting to photograph a baby belly for quite some time now. I think it is such an important phase of life to document, probably because I wish I had more (well, ANY) images of myself when I was pregnant. How quickly we forget…
I was thrilled when my husband’s co-worker contacted me to take her maternity photos. Definitely a last minute decision, as her due date was only 3 days after our session! She was calm, collected and positively glowing. And maybe, just maybe, I was secretly hoping she’d go into labor when our shoot was over … but this baby is very happy where he is and still hasn’t arrived!
Who looks this good at 39 1/2 weeks? Amazing!!
We met at sunrise to avoid the sweltering heat … this definitely was one of my hottest sessions, in more ways than one!!! (The are still newlyweds, afterall)

I feel so lucky I’ve been having some really fun and well, shall I say, satisfying shoots lately!
My fabulous hairdresser Julia Roumanis has earned several accolades and certifications in the recent year, and asked me if I’d be interested in shooting some images for her portfolio. Julia styled the entire shoot – hair, make-up and clothing, and through my view finder totally nailed it!
We asked two of my previous senior clients (one of which is the star of my image ‘the leap‘) if they were up to the challenge, and man did they completely blow our socks off with their awesomeness!
Their beauty is overwhelming to me -inside AND out.
