ProjectLife365 | A Personal Project

A new year full of hopes and dreams and resolutions.  2013 is here!

Three years ago I completed a 365 project (click HERE to see on my old blog), one picture per day for an entire year.  Challenging in so many ways.  Most challenging for me to find the time to edit & blog daily.  MOST rewarding however.  I love looking at those images & moments, to see how much my kids have changed & how much my photography has changed.  ALL good ALL around!

However, now we have wonderful easy social media image pathways such as Instagram and Facebook.  Technology has made it so easy to capture and share.  And now that I am the proud owner of my first iPhone, I plan to utilize these easy methods to capture a year in the life of me & my family.  AND print a 365 collage at the end of this year – YEAH!!!!

(If you could see my bare walls now, you’d understand my excitement)

My plan is to post daily on Instagram, and once weekly here on the blog & facebook.  Here are the links to find me on each of these media forums :

Won’t you join me with this project?  The rewards are so many – better photography skills & an amazing collection of photos, just to name a few.

One of my 2013 resolutions is to blog more.  I want to really show the real passionate me, what I am about & how my business has evolved these past two years.  I am so proud & so humbled by this journey & my clients!

Check back soon for the Best of 2012 contest, as well as a new project I am taking on for 2013!

Twelve Days of Christmas | Day Eleven

Our Christmas puppy sweet little Willis, it’s been two years since that wonderful Christmas morning we met!
And yet he still ponders why we want him to wear that hat…

And my daughter’s favorite shot (it’s pretty cute!)

Twelve Days of Christmas | Day Nine

I am thankful & most proud that my son decided to take orchestra in his first year of middle school this year.  He chose to play the stand up bass.

YES!  This means I have a violinist, cellist & a bass player.  My kids.

  Lucky, lucky me!

Here is my son at his school performance.  I begged for the first photo, promising only to take one snap.

I didn’t have my flash, and we were indoors.  Not the best quality photo I’ve taken lately, but certainly one that I cherish.

.

And a sneaky snap action shot!

The weekend is here and I hope to get a little creative for the last three days of this series… we’ll see… lots to do!
