The Quarles/Grogan Family | Raleigh Cary Family Portrait Photographer

.

When the fabulous Mom of this family scheduled this session last fall, I thought it was never going to get here!  But as usual, the time flew by quickly and I am glad it did.

My hats off to all of them – it was a muggy Sunday morning and there was no lack of sweat beads on my forehead as well as theirs.  But they kept on beaming those beautiful smiles at me – thanks you guys!

.

This one definitely makes me giggle every time!

.

Prepare for jaw dropping beauty here …

.

You may recognize this lovely gal from her senior portraits I took last summer :

Mrs. L | Raleigh Cary Maternity Portrait Photographer

.

Mrs. L teaches at my kids elementary school.  She has taught two of my children so far, and we adore her!  We were very excited to hear about her first baby on the way, and I was excited for the opportunity to take baby pictures.

An amazing job opportunity came her husband’s way across the country in California, too good to pass up.  So just like that, and eight months pregnant, she packed up and moved them across the country before baby girl arrives!

We will (and already DO) miss you Mrs. L!

Here are a few snaps from her baby/going away shower.

.

Mrs. L is petite, and always rocked the heels!

Good luck & can’t wait to see photos of baby girl!

A Morning with the Nikolichs | Greensboro Raleigh Family Portrait Photographer

.

Many moons ago, the Momma of this awesome family & I were roommates.

A little history : Just out of college we had placed an ad in the paper for a fourth roommate (yes, we were broke), and she answered.  We became fast & fabulous friends.  A few years later she moved to another state, and I think I have seen her once or twice in the past 20 or so  years!  You know how some people you can just pick up where you left off?  Well, she’s definitely one of those people.  I am SO excited they are back in NC, and she has a truly awesome family.  Handsome & kind as can be hubby, and two active & adorable boys.  Life is good!

She asked me if I’d travel her way to capture some moments of their day, and I happily obliged.  It was a super fun (and slightly exhausting – all that young energy !) morning.  I love those boys and can’t wait to spend more time with them this summer!

.

This is not a park, but their backyard!  What an amazing landscape we had to work with.

.

All of these pictures make me smile, but this one really gets me every time!

.

A perfect pair :)

.

I LOVE this one, how you can see the edge of her smiling face.

.

Sweet fun on Daddy’s shoulders :)

.

Snack time … oh those eyes!  I just had to pick up my camera and take this shot.

.

Time to play out front – they were excited to ride their bikes!

.

Ooops, someone ran over Mommy’s foot and got a time out … I couldn’t resist :)

.

Beautiful Momma and her boys – I think this pictures says it all!

.

One more place we wanted to visit, the neighborhood park just around the corner …

.

Hello little toes :)

.

The were pretty over pictures at this point, so I had them playing peek out from behind Mom & Dad for this shot!

.

Your gorgeous J & I love you!
