My Personal Blog
Just in case you don’t know, I also publish a personal blog. This blog started as a 365 picture project, and was the spark that started me on the fabulous photography endeavor! You can view my personal blog HERE.
I am still undecided as to how much personal I will share here. However, I do want to share with an accolade that I received last week.
There is a great online community of people from those just interested in photography … up to professional photographers. It’s called I Heart Faces. This large community hosts weekly photo contests. I try to be active and enter frequently.
Last week the theme was Motherhood. I entered the following picture …
and HERE is the post that I entered, that includes a description of this favorite photo of mine. (It didn’t turn out like I had planned – and that’s why I love this picture more than anything)
Lucky me – this bed-head-no-makeup image was chosen as a favorite by the co-founders of I Heart Faces, Amy & Angie. That is saying a lot, since there are hundreds of entries! You can view the contest winners HERE. Some seriously fabulous images to be seen!

A Night at the Museum
Couldn’t resist that title!
I have to say I felt very loved Friday evening – so many friends showed up to support me. I am a lucky, lucky person!
It was a fun evening mingling with some great artists & art (click HERE to see the online gallery) – such inspiring works on display! The ‘Best in Show’ piece, ‘White Tale’, was created by Mathew Curran and is truly a stunning piece of art. I highly suggest you check out his website!
